
UdiRECO® SYSTEM
External Thermal Insulation Composite System
with intelligent levelling compensation

- This novel, patented wood-fibre insulation system has been developed using a highly efficient sandwich-layer construction to provide optimum U-values. It is directly renderable and offers a wind-tight surface seal by adjusting to unevenness’s in the foundation substrate. In combination with our new UdiASSEMBLY adjustable fixings, this saves you time and effort in achieving a smooth and level surface. The insulation system adapts itself to uneven surfaces within a range of +/- 20mm providing a wind-tight seal. Continuous tongue and groove edges on all jointing sides. Dimensions: 130 x 79 cm. Available in the following insulation thicknesses: 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180 and 200 mm
As a result of our many years of experience in the design of façade insulation systems, we have developed two new types of fixings - UdiASSEMBLY SDM Adjustable fixing (for masonry constructions) and UdiASSEMBLY SDH Adjustable fixing ( for timber constructions). These fixings save you time and money during the installation phase by doing away with the need for extensive preparation and levelling of the substrate surface of older buildings i.e. half-timbered buildings, bare brick walls or sound but dilapidated and/or cracked masonry walls.
The UdiRECO SYSTEM is also the ideal solution for solid timber constructions. The system provides a wind-tight seal by adapting to the shape of the surface of the foundation substrate. It can compensate for differences in the level of this surface by up to 2cm. In doing so it eliminates problems caused by back-draughts behind the insulation layer which reduce the efficiency of the insulation and may lead to the hidden build-up of condensation. The time saved is considerable. Complicated bearer frameworks are unnecessary and delays due to drying-out times and the possibility of moisture ingress from fresh render repairs are also avoided.

- Position the fixing in the pre-bored hole.
- Screw in the fixing until the cap engages the board.
- Screw the fixing in until the extraction seal engages and the fixing head meshes with the upper insulation layer.
- Adjust the fixings using a spirit level or laser.
- After all the insulation boards have been installed the render finish is applied in accordance with the UNGER-DIFFUTHERM manufacturer’s guidelines.

Using a laser or spirit level, the UdiRECO®Insulation system can be adjusted millimetre-exact, fixing head for fixing head .
All surface unevenness’s, regardless of whether they are pipes, cables or the wall itself can be compensated for up to a level of +/- 20 mm.
If the installation of the insulation boards is performed to a professional standard the surface will be absolutely flat and ready to be rendered and reinforced using our system products.
Professional cutting results can be achieved using a mini-chainsaw or hand-held circular saw.
