UdiSTONE

UdiSTONE®SYSTEM
Ecological insulation blocks for partition wall construction

The stable honeycomb core is enclosed by natural coniferous wood layers. The result is an easy to use sandwich insulation element for all interior wall projects. The large format elements are simply pushed together and permanently bonded using the specially designed, solvent-free system adhesive. The result is a smooth, solid wooden wall which can be directly coated with the complete range of Unger-Diffutherm system plasters.

Properties and Benefits

Installation procedure

The first step is to install and fix the UdiSTONE® base profile, horizontally adjusted, to the bare floor. The UdiSTONE® insulation blocks can now be installed with a joint offset of at least 20cm and bonded using UdiSPECIAL ADHESIVE providing a joint-free finish.

The rest of the installation is completed in the same manner. Any cutting or trimming necessary is accomplished using an electric saw e.g. a circular saw, a mini chain saw or an electric crosscut or universal saw.

The rest of the uncomplicated installation is completed using a rubber hammer and striking block.

We primarily recommend the tried and tested plaster systems from the UNGER-DIFFUTHERM range.
