Fire resistant

What happens if there is a fire?

Fire and the dangers associated with it always make us feel uneasy and make us consider just how safe and protected we are. We can provide you with the assurance that

UdiQuality Insulation systems fulfil the demanding legal fire resistance requirements.

The effect of flames directly on the surface of the wood-fibre insulation leads to the build up of an ash layer which blocks the flow of oxygen and thereby restricts the rapid development of the fire. Also there are no emissions of poisonous gases.

When installed and rendered, the UdiFRONT-System has the building materials classification B1 (DIN 4102-1). This designates that the system is highly flame resistant.

UdiQuality Insulation systems thereby provide very high fire resistance properties.

In roof and wall areas, the fire resistance classifications F 30 to F 90 are possible. The very low heat build up of the wood-fibre boards, in comparison to mineral fibre insulation, can help to restrict the rapid development of fire on other layers.
